My elite troops finally feel elite and valuable again. This (new) game is a remaster of the 2004 Rome: Total War game by Creative Assembly. I can drain their manpower by engaging them in field battle after field battle. Total War: Rome Remastered developed by Feral Interactive and launched on 29th April 2021. I can starve empires, by blockading their ports. I can once again use multiple small armies. Without running at 20 fps that randomly drop for some reason. Rome remasterd, i dont like the ui, something seems off with the battle sounds, but i am willing to put up with that so i can once again enjoy total war, without constant crashes to desktop. Provinces? Edicts? 4 slots in a town? So much unit variety that isnt actual variety? Nah thanks. Warhammer is fun for a 10 minute skirmish, but the campaigns are a drag. I absolutly hate the systems they introduced with rome 2. I will not be getting anymore, i was hopefull but no more.
